Our Story

Find Actuaries began as an idea in 2001 — years before "actuarial career" meant anything beyond a handful of traditional roles to most people who could have thrived in the field. The original company was wound up cleanly, with nothing carried forward but the name and the reason for it.

The reason came from a simple, recurring moment: a graduate with real quantitative ability, unsure whether their degree actually led anywhere. It was true in 2001. It is still disappointingly true today. Find Actuaries Limited was incorporated in 2026 to finally do something sustained about it — not as a side project, but as a deliberate, long-term commitment.

It sits alongside 3E Foundation, which carries the mission side: mentoring, education, and — over time — building African-run infrastructure for the profession, rather than permanent dependence on qualification pathways run from elsewhere.
